Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored ceramic materials designed to cover (laminate) the front side of teeth. They are made in our laboratory, from a model of your teeth.
Correctly done, a porcelain veneer will improve your smile by restoring a tooth to its original strength and appearance. Veneers are great for correcting gaps, stains, and badly shaped or crooked teeth. Think of it as Photoshop for your teeth.
Minor preparation of the teeth will be completed during the initial visit. We’ll make models and take photographs of your teeth. After determining the desired color, our laboratory will fabricate the restoration. Upon completion, a second appointment will be scheduled. At that time, you’ll have the opportunity to review the veneer. Once approved, it will be bonded to your teeth.
We’ll asses your teeth to determine if this is the best treatment choice. Veneers are often the most conservative approach to changing the color, size, shape, or alignment of your teeth.
A 20-year-old patient was unhappy with the size and spacing of her teeth following orthodontics. Veneer restorations were crafted in our laboratory to give her a beautiful, more aesthetically pleasing smile.
